Happy anniversary! Reading this helped heal my heart a bit. I felt Luka cared for Edith (and was maybe starting to feel true feelings for her and it scared him off) I'm glad I wasn't wrong, as I loved Edith and felt so bad for her. The others were not kind to her, so seeing her show kindness to Luka and him doing the same for her was touching. I cried for those two actually, and I'm sad Edith is gone (as misguided as she was) but glad it was Luka who did what he did for her. I wonder what will happen in The Cannibal now, if he reverts back into his former self so to speak or if he'll keep opening up? After Edith, I'd understand if he didn't...but I also wonder if he hadn't refused her advances, and allowed himself to feel for her, if maybe she would've told him what she was doing and he could've helped her in some way and things wouldn't have ended the way they did for everyone.
Would actually love to learn more about Luka! Especially after Arachnid. 🔥🙌🏼
